Expert in financial markets guest in statistics lecture
Harry Ishihara, former advisor to Japanese regulators and macro strategist, visited a lecture on econometrics and statistics at the Bundesbank University of Applied Sciences and shared his experience and expertise with students. He provided valuable insights into US labour market indicators and together with students and Professor Andreas Höfer from the Bundesbank, Harry discussed the current policy of the Federal Reserve (Fed). Together with the Bundesbank students, he examined aspects including unemployment, job quality, wage growth, and the trend of US payrolls using seasonally and not seasonally adjusted data.
