University at conference on German-Polish economic policy in Warsaw
This year, the Bundesbank’s University of Applied Sciences was represented for the first time at the conference on German-Polish economic policy hosted by the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Lilli Zimmermann, a professor at the university, spoke on German exports and what drives them. Other topics included foreign trade, foreign direct investment, energy economics and aspects of monetary policy.
The SGH Warsaw School of Economics holds a conference on German-Polish economic relations every year. It brings together representatives from business, politics and academia to exchange ideas on economic relations and provide input for policymakers.
A student exchange had already taken place between the Bundesbank’s University of Applied Sciences and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Participation in the conference has now helped to intensify the existing partnership at the professional level.
